As an institute specialised in provident schemes for professionals in the aeronautics sector, IPECA chose Lonsdale to revitalise its identity and help lead its headquarters’ refurbishment. The new HQ is a testament to the transformation process which the company is undergoing, with the aim of reconnecting with people and fostering the collaboration and agility of all stakeholders.

On a total surface area of 2500 m2 and composed of 2 buildings separated by a courtyard, the real estate project has undergone a profound transformation to allow 90 employees to fully enjoy its workspaces, harbouring collaboration and relaxation.

With the aim of encouraging exchanges between employees, and based on the idea of ”Connecting”, the agency used the link between the aeronautical universe and precision as a key thread. Particular care has been taken in the concept’s architecture and design, the choice of furniture and the quality of the materials used, all of which have been inspired by this universe and fully reflect the comfort and purity of the lines.

The finishes and materials fit precisely in place to stand the test of time and changing trends. The clean lines, the steel and glass staircase, the Pacific walnut facings, the large creamy-white limestone slabs, the visible technical ceilings, the sandstone Parisian paving stones in the courtyard… all these finishes guarantee the quality of the works, as well as the transparency and comfort of life within its spaces

The entrance perspective now opens onto a bright, convivial space. This space is the main point of passage in the morning, at lunchtime and other peak times of the day. Named “L’Escale”, the cafeteria is a place to meet and relax. This opens onto a newly configured courtyard in the living space. Initially a 3-place car park, the courtyard has once again become a dedicated meeting place where employees meet for lunch or work, whatever the time of day.

From the courtyard, employees can join the open work spaces: meeting rooms, alcoves and informal meeting places whose names include “Cockpit”, “Capsules”, “Caravelle”…
