Our approach

In response to increasingly complex regulations and the evolving ways people use buildings, Lonsdale has created a dedicated wayfinding design team: the Bureau des Signes.

From integrating accessibility laws, conducting flow and usage analyses, and developing master plans, to assessing technical feasibility, managing budgets, drafting specifications, and supporting project owners—these challenges demand specialized expertise and highly developed analytical, strategic, and technical skills. All of this ensures a high-quality dialogue between the brand, the space, and its visitors.

Led by Diane de Mareschal, the Bureau des Signes draws on Lonsdale’s ecosystem of 150 creatives to bring signage systems to life.

This expert service is tailored to all types of environments: office spaces, shopping centers, campuses, museums, cultural sites, cities, gyms and performance venues, hospitals, hotels, public parks, parking facilities, theme parks, and leisure centers.

“As spaces evolve to become more experiential, it’s time to rethink the conversation between brand, place, and visitor. The Bureau des Signes acts as the bridge between spaces and their users—streamlining journeys and building trust between visitors and brands through solutions that are functional, directional, and emotional,” explain Diane de Mareschal and Nicolas Venturini, Partner head of Retail.
