Two years after the renovation and the success of the bookstore Le Divan convention street (Paris 15th) Lonsdale pursues new adventures with the group Madrigall, and renovates its bookstore dedicated to youth, newly named The Divan Perché.

The 180 m2 space is brighter and more open, an original and unique place. Visible from the outside, the new layout emphasizes the vertical volume of the bookstore and frees the window to bring in the light.

The space opens on the Welcome Desk where the stationery offering highlights the novelties. The selection of games and great classics is also installed at the entrance of the store.

The perspective then opens on a gallery of thematic alcoves: creative hobbies, school, toys, books … until the Nest for Little Ones, the universe of 0 to 5 years old.

At the bottom of the space, Lonsdale created the auditorium of the little ones, an ergonomic space to play, discover and listen to readings.

Then, like a perched hut, Le Perchoir visible from the window and located on the mezzanine, offers comics, games, novels and documentaries for readers aged 6 and over and a creative workshop.

In the entire bookstore, the materials and soft colors create a cocoon, punctuated by vitamin colors(red poppy, orange nasturtium…).

Since the reopening, Le Divan Perché exposes over 20 000 titles which are elegantly displayed thanks to an interesting lighting installation. The bookshop once again animates the neighborhood by offering workshops and – just like Le Divan across the street – events with authors. With something to delight all readers
