Vies de Famille: A New Identity for Caf’s Magazine
Annual and Sustainability Reporting
With 1.5 million copies distributed quarterly across France and over 10,000 partners, Vies de Famille is the flagship magazine of the Caf (Caisses d’Allocations Familiales) — the French public institution responsible for administering family and social welfare benefits to millions of households.
Its mission: to inform current and potential beneficiaries and clarify their rights in an accessible way.
To support its editorial redesign, Lonsdale developed a colorful and vibrant visual language, centered on illustration. Each issue now features a unique cover designed by a different illustrator, offering a distinct artistic view of the theme and reflecting the magazine’s diverse readership. The new content structure balances short formats, infographics, and in-depth articles, all enhanced by a clean, well-structured layout for improved readability.
Now positioned as a true media brand, Vies de Famille rolls out its new identity across print, digital, and social platforms, reinforcing the connection between Caf and its audiences with a tone that is inclusive, informative, and human.
