A Platform to Promote Public Employment and Attract the Talents of Tomorrow

Employer Branding
Since 2018, Lonsdale has supported the French Directorate-General for Administration and the Civil Service (DGAFP) in its digital HR transformation, with a clear objective: modernize the image of public employment and enhance its appeal. In 2019, we designed the Place de l’Emploi Public website and mobile app, which evolved in 2021 into Choisir le Service Public.
Officially launched in 2023, this employer brand platform goes far beyond a job board. It highlights the full scope of France’s civil service ecosystem: over 300,000 job and apprenticeship offers each year, information on competitive exams, employer and job profiles, public servant testimonials, and mentoring support to help candidates shape their professional projects.
Co-designed with the DGAFP, the platform is fully accessible and aligned with the French State’s Design System, offering an intuitive, seamless user experience. Both the website and mobile app allow users to apply easily, explore diverse career paths, and better understand the value of public service.
With Choisir le Service Public, Lonsdale contributes to a mission of general interest: promoting public employment and connecting citizens with their calling.
