As a skills operator for sectors heavily impacted by recruitment challenges—such as hospitality, cleaning, and temporary work—AKTO’s mission is to promote apprenticeships to both businesses and young people. The challenge was to raise awareness among diverse audiences: SMEs, young people with low qualifications, families, as well as influencers like professional branches, training centers, and employment organizations in metropolitan France and the overseas territories.
Lonsdale chose a simple and impactful positioning: to make apprenticeships “the right alternative.” The campaign, direct and modern, breaks down misconceptions and provides clear answers for both business leaders and young people seeking opportunities.
The optimistic message “The alternative is apprenticeships” was spread through an ambitious digital campaign, national radio ads, and extensive promotion at trade shows, on training center websites, schools, professional branches, and AKTO partners.
Result: An accessible, educational, and mobilizing campaign that gives apprenticeships the visibility they deserve and affirms their key role in professional integration and meeting business needs.
