French Competition Authority: When Sporting Spirit Reveals the Power of Competition

To mark its 15th anniversary and coincide with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the French Competition Authority entrusted Lonsdale with the design of its 2023 Annual Report—a flagship communication piece addressed to the highest levels of government. The goal: make the report a milestone event that highlights the Authority’s concrete contribution to France’s economic vitality.

Lonsdale built a strong editorial concept by drawing a parallel between sports competition and economic competition—two arenas driven by the same values: performance, fairness, challenge, and openness. This storytelling approach modernizes the Authority’s image and brings new clarity to its mission.

Visually, the report embraces a dynamic and elegant design, infused with energy and movement inspired by the world of sports. It captures the momentum of an institution in action, committed to the rules of fair play and economic impact.

Published in both print and digital formats, the 2023 Annual Report becomes more than a publication—it’s a narrative of ambition and transparency, positioning the French Competition Authority as a key player in shaping a competitive, fair, and forward-looking economy.
