A historic brand under the Lagardère Travel Retail group, RELAY has been supporting travelers in train stations and airports around the world for over 160 years. In response to growing competition and evolving expectations, the brand turned to Lonsdale to redefine its global positioning and strengthen its image as a key player in the travel experience.
Following an international workshop, we developed a brand platform that clearly expresses RELAY’s mission, sustainability commitments, and core role: to simplify, enrich, and support every journey. Its new tagline — “RELAY, part of the journey” — captures this friendly, accessible spirit.
We also designed a new store concept, first brought to life at the flagship in Gare du Nord, now being rolled out internationally.
An international communications campaign showcases real moments from the travel experience, brought to life with emotionally engaging or practical messaging. Deployed across print, digital, radio, and key travel moments throughout the year, the campaign delivers a consistent and powerful presence at every step of the traveler’s journey.
