The Fontaine bookshop called on our teams to reaffirm its identity.

the recommendation

To improve circulation in this historic neighborhood bookstore, our teams worked on the legibility of the space through a customized furniture layout and simplified customer flow. The new blue and orange color palette contrasts to create a strong luminous appeal. Upmarket details have been created in the image of the great fashion houses and, as a dedication to writers, quotations from authors adorn the walls.
With the aim of preserving the singularity of the bookshop through its existing heritage, the agency followed the principles of “Quiet Luxury”: the 1978 wooden façade was delicately restored by a letter painter, to retain the patina of time.
